How does the core fee work?

If you choose to pay the core fee, we ship you a set of cleaned, ready-to-use direct injectors, while we also send you a shipping label to ship your injectors to us. This lets you swap direct injectors on your car with no downtime. When we receive your direct injectors and validate them to be a good core set, the indicated amount is refunded to you. Un-usable cores are not refunded from the core charge, and can be returned to you at your cost if you wish. You don't get a full refund on the core fee, because the difference is used to cover the cost of additional shipping and the additional fees that our credit card processor charges, that are not refunded to us when we issue you a refund.

Why service injectors and replace DI seals?

Dirty injectors and old spark plugs can cause large power losses on any car, whether naturally aspirated or supercharged.

Reinforced direct injector seals are recommended for improved durability for heavy circuit racing and high RPM application. Damage to seals tends to happen over time after heavy track and high RPM use.

Faulty coil-packs and burned up DI seals will result in misfires during acceleration and can cause long term damage to the engine if not replaced quickly.

How much power is to be re-gained refreshing injectors and plugs? As an example, here is a dyno chart of a BRZ tuned by CSG with a Jackson Racing supercharger, running before and after a fuel injector cleaning service and replacing spark plugs. Notice the stark difference in power and torque before and after.
